The key features of the MediFellows Timeline

Events section

The Events section of the MediFellows app can be used for literally any occasion. Whether it's a small group of fellows that want to create a get together to discuss current developments within the industry, or an exhibition open to the community featuring the latest in available modern medical technology. Here is where you can make it all happen!

With MediFellows you can create three different types of events:

This is mostly for exhibitions, seminars, public speakers, and conferences. Public events are available to everyone in the medical industry, students, qualified medical professionals, and professionals within the healthcare industry.
Private events are accessible via direct invite by the event admin or co-host/s. However, if the option has been activated by the admin, guests of the event are also allowed to send invites.
Group events allow you to create events within a group. Depending on the settings of your current group, members are also allowed to invite guests.

Groups

MediFellows allows you to create three different types of groups. Each designed to serve a specific purpose, the goal is for you to easily connect and collaborate with your closest fellows.

With MediFellows you can create three different groups:

When a group is closed, only those who have been invited to the group can see the content and information shared within it. An example of a closed group might be fellows who are working on a project together and want to communicate with one another more efficiently. By creating a closed group, the team is given a private forum to share ideas on the project and post updates. Still, all information is shared, only with those within the group, once it has been made closed. Others will still be able to see that the group exists and who the members are, but they will not be able to see any posts or information within the closed group unless they are invited.
Even more private than the closed group is the secret group. Nobody on MediFellows can see a secret group other than those in the group. This group will not appear anywhere on your profile, and only those within the group can see who the fellows are and what is posted.
When a group is public, anyone can see who is in the group and what has been posted. Still, only members of the group have the ability to post within it. A public group is exactly what it sounds like. It’s fully visible to everyone and anyone can join without being approved. All members’ posts are fully visible to all other MediFellows users, so this type of group does not offer the sense of privacy and security that comes with the more restricted group types. However, it is the easiest group type for fellows to join, and can therefore grow quickly.
